Privacy Policy

Loop Racer · Effective 6 September 2026

The short version. Loop Racer is a single-player game that runs entirely on your device. Your save file never leaves your phone — there is no account, no login, and no game server.

The app does send anonymous usage and crash data so it can be improved, and it shows ads and sells optional in-app purchases. Ads are non-personalized: the app does not use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites, and never asks for permission to do so.

1. Who this policy is from

This policy covers the mobile game Loop Racer, published by Fatih Kayan (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about it, write to fatihkayann20@gmail.com.

2. What we do not do

3. Data stored on your device

Everything you do in the game — your car, your upgrades, your gates, your tracks, your cash and gold, your run history and your settings — is written to a database inside the app’s own private storage on your device. We cannot read it, and it is removed when you delete the app.

The first time you play, the app generates a random identifier for your save. It is not derived from your device, your Apple Account or anything about you, and it cannot be used to contact you. You can see it under Profile → About → Player ID.

4. Analytics

The app uses PostHog to understand how the game is played — for example which screens are opened, when a run is started, when an upgrade is bought and when a gate is placed. This tells us where players get stuck so we can fix it.

These events are attached to the random Player ID described in section 3, and to nothing else. Analytics events never contain the contents of your save file.

5. Crash and performance reporting

The app uses Sentry to report crashes and performance problems, so that a bug that ruins a run can be found and fixed. A crash report contains technical information about the failure: the error, the code path that produced it, your device model and operating-system version, and the version of the app you were running.

When — and only when — an error occurs, the report also includes a masked replay of the moments leading up to it, which helps show what went wrong. Sessions are never recorded otherwise. Text is masked by default, and the game contains no personal information to capture.

6. Advertising

The app shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. You are never forced to watch one — they are offered in exchange for an in-game reward, and the game is fully playable without ever tapping them.

Every ad request is marked non-personalized. In practice this means:

Google still processes limited technical data to serve and measure an ad and to prevent fraud. Google’s handling of that data is described in its own policy, linked in section 11.

7. Purchases

The app sells optional consumable in-app purchases (in-game Gold). Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card number, billing address or Apple Account details.

We use RevenueCat to record which purchases have been made. RevenueCat stores the purchase receipt against the same random Player ID described in section 3.

8. Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits your career totals — best run, distance, laps, cash and tier — to Apple’s leaderboards, and reports your progress towards the game’s trophies. Apple handles that data under its own privacy policy, and how you appear on a leaderboard is controlled by your Game Center settings, not by us.

If you are not signed in, none of it is sent and nothing in the game is lost. Your Player ID does not change either way.

9. Reminders

If you turn reminders on, the app asks iOS for permission to send notifications and then schedules them on your device — for example when a run is due to finish. There is no push server: no notification token is created, and nothing about your reminders leaves your phone. Declining the permission, or turning reminders off later, affects nothing else in the game.

10. Children

Loop Racer is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at fatihkayann20@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Deleting your data

Your game data. Open Profile → Danger zone → Reset progress inside the app. This permanently erases the local database — every track, upgrade, gate and lap — and starts the game over from the tier 1 track. It cannot be undone, and Gold you bought is not refunded. Deleting the app from your device erases the same data.

Your analytics and crash data. Email fatihkayann20@gmail.com and ask for deletion. Because the data is pseudonymous, please include the identifier shown under Profile → About → Player ID so we can find the right records.

Your purchases. Purchase records are held by Apple and by RevenueCat as a record of a transaction. Ask Apple directly for a refund or a purchase-history request.

Your Game Center scores. Leaderboard entries and achievements live in your Game Center account, not ours. Manage or remove them through your Apple Account settings.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including the EU and UK under the GDPR, and California under the CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

To exercise any of these rights, write to fatihkayann20@gmail.com. We will respond within the time your local law allows.

14. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the effective date at the top of the page is updated and the new version is published here before the change takes effect. Continuing to play after that date means you accept the updated policy.
